# alfred-youtube-vlc-workflow

## Install
```
$ npm install --global alfred-youtube
```

1. [VLC](http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-macosx.html) if you want streaming with this application
*Requires [Node.js](https://nodejs.org) 4+ and the Alfred [Powerpack](https://www.alfredapp.com/powerpack/).*
*I defaulting to `npm` but you can also download the `YouTube.alfredworkflow` and double-click the file.*
## First Run
Before running the workflow you need to set your **YOUTUBE_API_KEY**:
[Here](https://developers.google.com/youtube/v3/getting-started) you can create one.
To enter it open Alfred Preferences > Workflows then select YouTube, finally click in Configure Workflow and Variables (as seen below):
## Usage
In Alfred, type `yt`, Enter, and your query.
