The beginning of a systematic literature review into the use of gaming engines in scientific research.
Step 1. get a list of game engines, (currently from wikipedia) then search databases (pubmed, webofscience, etc) for publications mentioning them.
Step 2. Create a html table showing engines, citation counts, and links to relevant publications -> https://github-pages.ucl.ac.uk/game_engines_for_research/
Step 3. Take a look at what papers are getting picked up and refine.
