# tung
Simple, Fast and Lightweight command line tool to perform DoS attacks
## Description
**Tung** is a command-line tool designed to help configure and test firewalls against various types of DoS attacks.
### Key Features:
- Provides a collection of common DoS attack techniques
- Supports multiple network protocols:
- ICMP
- TCP
- UDP
- IP
- Includes implementations of well-known attack methods:
- Slowloris
- BlueNurse
- And others
### Project Background:
- Originally developed as a DoS module for **Spongebot**, a centralized TCP-based botnet
- The name "Tung" is inspired by the viral Italian meme "Tung Tung Tung Tung Sahur"
### Purpose:
- Enable security professionals to test firewall resilience
- Provide an educational tool for studying DoS attack vectors
- Assist in developing effective mitigation strategies
