Overview

Vertica geospatial functionality leverages the performance and scale of the Vertica Analytics Platform and uses OGC-based SQL functions for computation on two-dimensional planar and three-dimensional data.

Building the Examples

---------------------

1. Download and install Vertica.

2. Use the accompanying SQL files and data to guide you through the example.

3. When applicable, use the accompanying R file to guide you through visualizing the example.
