ABOUT

The "sysdns" package aims at providing cross-platform support

for advanced DNS querying using the system facilities for DNS

querying.

Thus, while it essentially duplicates the functionality already

provided by the "dns" package (available in Tcllib), it takes a

different approach to implementation.

BUILDING

Refer to the INSTALL file for the list of supported platforms

and for detailed instructions regarding the building of this

package on different platforms.

DOCUMENTATION

This file presents just a brief description of the package.

Full documentation is maintained in the "doc" subdirectory and

is provided in HTML and NROFF formats.
