# south_africa_kleynhans

This repository contains the time series data and code described in Kleynhans et al. The goal of this analysis was to evaluate changes in the rate of mortality due to pneumonia and to disentangle changes caused by the introduction of pneumococcal conjugate vaccines from changes due to other factor (such as antiretroviral therapy). https://journals.plos.org/plosmedicine/article/peerReview?id=10.1371/journal.pmed.1003537

To reproduce the analyses from the paper, clone this repository, then run the file "Kleynhans analysis.Rmd"
