# Mac Dictionary Selector
**An Alfred Workflow that lets you quickly look up words in a variety of dictionaries available for _dictionary.app_ on macOS**
### Requirements
---
* [Alfred](https://www.alfredapp.com) v2 or above
* Alfred [Powerpack](https://www.alfredapp.com/powerpack/)
### Download
---
* [mac-dictionary-selector.alfredworkflow](https://github.com/yohasebe/mac-dictionary-selector/raw/master/Mac%20Dictionary%20Selector.alfredworkflow)
### Installation
---
1. Download the [alfredworkflow file](https://github.com/yohasebe/mac-dictionary-selector/raw/master/Mac%20Dictionary%20Selector.alfredworkflow)
2. Double-click the file to import into Alfred
### Setup
---
On macOS Sierra and High Sierra, the dictionary data for the _dictionary.app_ are in the optimized storage and installed on demand. You need to setup dictionaries on the preference pane of the _dictionary.app_ before using Mac Dictionary Selector.
### Usage
---
The default keyword to invoke Mac Dictionary Selector is `dicts`.
Type `dicts` + `SPACE` + _word_
And select a dictionary from the list. Then _dictionary.app_ will look up the word in the dictionary of your choice.
