# Hotlap Racing Game

## Overview

Hotlap is a 3D racing game developed as a school project. The game features custom physics, various cars, and tracks for players to enjoy. It was developed using the Godot Engine and is designed to provide an immersive and challenging racing experience.

## Features

- **Multiple Cars**: 8 different cars, each with unique handling and physics.
- **Various Tracks**: 3 distinct maps - Sakura Forest, Desert, and Canyon, each offering different challenges and environments.
- **Time Trials**: Compete against the clock and save your best times.
- **Free Roam**: Explore the Canyon map at your own pace.
- **Custom Physics**: arcade car physics to enhance the driving experience.
- **Intuitive UI**: User-friendly interface with customizable settings.

## Installation

1. Download the game from the link below.
2. Extract the RAR file to your desired location.
3. Run `Hotlap.exe` to start the game.

## Controls

- **WASD or Arrow Keys or Left thumb stick on controller and Bumpers**: Move the car
- **Esc**: Pause Menu
- **Space**: Gear Up
- **Ctrl**: Gear Down
- **Middle mouse button**: Rotate camera
