# huectl quickstart
## install
```
$ brew install python3
$ pip install -r requirements.txt
```
- or -
```
$ apt-get install python3 python3-requests
```
## basic usage
Initial setup and list lights:
```
$ huectl
Press link button on bridge 192.168.0.100 now.......

Turn a light on:

$ huectl on 2

Back off:

Dim a light:

## scenes
List scenes:
```
$ huectl scenes

Activate scene `TAP-2`:

$ huectl scene TAP-2

Get details (lights, lightstates) for `TAP-2`:

$ huectl scene-detail TAP-2

(Lightstates are not stored in the bridge for v1 scenes.)
## sensors
List sensors:

$ huectl sensors
