# EV3/Micro:bit integration

Most of this repo follows [JorgePe's guide](https://github.com/jorgepe/microbit).

JorgePe's bluetooth hex file for micro:bit is included in `./mbit/` directory.

Dependencies are listed in `requirements.txt`.

For `python3-ev3dev2` on ev3, please install the package via apt-get instead of pip3.

If `pygatt` failed to install because easy_install cannot connect to the server with ssl,

try manually installing its dependencies: `pyserial`, `enum-compat`, `coverage`, `nose`

Use

```sh

hciconfig

```

To find the hci handle for your bluetooth adapter. Here we use `hci0`.

Then, discover micro:bit's characteristics and their handle by:

```sh

sudo gatttool -i hci0 -b  -t random --characteristics

```
