### About the Experiment
This experiment is a virtual simulation designed to teach the fundamentals of Electromyography (EMG) within the context of biomedical engineering instrumentation. This allows students to explore how electrical activity is generated by skeletal muscles and recorded through surface electrodes. The simulation covers the entire signal acquisition chain, including electrode placement on specific muscle groups, the application of differential amplifiers to boost weak signals, and the use of frequency filters to eliminate noise such as powerline interference. By simulating varying levels of muscle contraction, users can observe the direct relationship between physical force and the amplitude of the EMG signal, providing a hands-on understanding of motor unit recruitment and signal processing without the need for expensive physical hardware.
