My work explores the relationship between the universality of myth and copycat violence. With influences as diverse as Nietzsche and Joni Mitchell, new synergies are generated from both mundane and transcendant structures. Ever since I was a teenager I have been fascinated by the theoretical limits of the mind. What starts out as yearning soon becomes corrupted into a dialectic of lust, leaving only a sense of dread and the dawn of a new understanding. As spatial replicas become reconfigured through diligent and repetitive practice, the viewer is left with a hymn to the limits of our culture.
